Seeing that I am new to this Doggie People collection, does anyone know how I can see what has been made in the past? Is there any photos of what is out there on the retirement scene. I am interested in collecting Police, Firemen and Rugby players? Maybe Robert Harrop produce litreture?? if not would it be a good idea so us new collectors can try and catch up.

thanks Colin

Thanks Anita that gives me a good idea of what has been produced so far. I had better start working some overtime and buy a big cabinet.

How about four big cabinets! I have had to put some of my pieces away as there was no more room for another cabinet. I think four is enough! If I can be of any help - let me know.

Thanks Birdsong it helps to know what I should be looking for!
I note there is a German Shepherd Policeman on ebay but I never have purchased off there before, not sure if I trust that system for buying.

It would be a good idea if Robert Harrop could produce a booklet showing all they have ever made. I notice from Anita's excel list there are a few one off's namely in the Rugby figures..would love to see a picture of them.

I'm afraid that only the selected few who purchased the "one off" Rugby Figures have the pleasure of seeing them, unless you were lucky enough to be at the First Event before they went to auction. I myself have only seen one or two in private collections.

I have made a number of purchases via eBay and, touch wood, have only met genuine and very helpful people. Give it a try ....... but no guarantees!!

 Colin, You will find every now and then, RH catalogues are put on e/bay for sale. These are a very good source of info, for the year the dog was released, and what was available at that time. They seldom go above £3-£4 when selling, and i have managed to pick up in this way, all of them from 1989 until the present day. Look under Robert Harrop, and this will point you in the right direction.
