Hi Cinta
Can i say what a pleasure it was meeting you guys at crufts on Sunday it made my and my familys day. I know you were a very busy lady Cinta but can you recall talking about this years Event piece? What you told me has really got me trying to work out which piece it will be. So any news when you can reveal all?

Probably a week or so before the event - if at all. I wouldn't be suprised if RHD keep it quiet until the event itself.

The Event piece will be advertised in the Journal which hopefully will be in the post at the end of April :)

Hi Cinta,
Will there be event pieces for every Harrop range?
If so, how about having some fun & letting slip some cryptic clues for us to try & guess what the piece(s) will be? You can make the clues as hard as you want...it will just prolong the fun!
Cheers.

The Events pieces will be from the Doggie People, Beano & Dandy and Camberwick Green Collections only :)

Well that is a fairly broad clue. I know Marlinspike asked for something cryptic, but I think we were hoping for a bit more than that :)

In broad terms, an event piece is a limited edition, one-off figurine produced for sale at the event day only. The foreman being an example, the pewter windy being another, however ......................... with the advent of the factory shop, we have seen that a few unsold items have appeared for purchase after the event. However, If I may be presumptious, it is not a good idea to rely on the belief (or hope) that the piece will not sell out on the day and thus be available in the factory shop at a later date. My suggestion would be that if you want an event piece you get yourself there, come what may (as I have previously suggested).
My apologies to Cinta, Dan and co if I have said anything here that is incorrect.
