Right up until the weekend I had no idea you could buy these adorable Camberwick Green figures.

I came across them on Ebay - and now I'm totally hooked.

I suppose it's the happy memories they conjure up for me. My mum and I loved the progs on WWM - and would snuggle up and watch them together.

I don't think I had a favorite character then, and I don't suppose I do now - I love them all!!!!

Well aleast my husband will know what to buy me for Christmas and birthdays now.

One thing I'd like to ask - why do people buy the figures and not display them?

I've just bought my first piece - the introductory clown with the black board, and I fully intend to display him - and listen to his music.

Well to be honest Miss Poohs, the reason mine are all stored in their boxes right now is simply because of a lack of room in which to display them, even though we're in a pretty big house, I'm one of 6 if you include my parents and my 3 younger brothers, so you can imagine if one of the more valuable, limited editions was on display and one of them, or a friend of theirs or whoever had an 'accident'.

I'm actually looking to insure them, but as for my own room I'm just quite simply out of space.
