A retailer / stockist has told me today that Robert Harrop figures are no longer being made here and are now being made in China, surely this can't be true. Can anybody throw some light on this please

Yes we have had production in the Far-East for many years, in common with almost every other manufacturer in our industry.

Thanks Dan, I was obviously under the sad but hopeful illusion that they were made in Shropshire or Trumptonshire ;-)

All figurines and packaging are designed, sculpted, prototype painted and master moulded here in Shropshire (sadly not Trumpton!). Only any finishing required is done abroad, and we monitor quality personally.
Thanks

Suddenly everything is becoming clearer. How about an outing to China, probably still closer than my nearest stockists!!!!
