Has anyone else seen the new advert in the oat so simple series?
It's so funny, do not remember that character! :) :)
Cannot imagine that figurine being produced! My mum was laughing so much, especially when he was fanning down his hot bits at the end of the advert!

Saw the ad yesterday morning during Jeremy Kyle - hilarious!
Molly from the Feathers, The Jogger and now Uncle Guber must certainly be considered canonical CG characters, and RHD should definitely add them to the range.
I'd also love to see some of the characters that only featured in the various books, such as the Juggler, and I've been saying for years that I would love to buy original characters in the CG range - schoolteacher, publican, vicar, bride and groom, circus characters, etc - anything's better that Y.A.W.M. (Yet Another Windy Miller)
RHD should give this some consideration and see if they can't work something out with Gordon Murray and the licence holders...

How do you know its not already in the pipeline????
As for not another Windy Miller, the simple fact is he is popular, people want to collect him, the sales prove this as does the Quaker adverts. Each collection has a character that is more popular than the rest; Dennis for example in the Beano / Dandy; Bagpuss himself in the Bagpuss collection. If you collect characters from Winnie the Pooh, I doubt if you'd complain about another Winnie the Pooh!

Oh how i loved Winnie the Pooh as a kid, but i prefered Tigger;) personally
Was that a hint Dan? Because AA Milne & Winnie the Pooh is originally British

Yeah but you try prising it from the claws of Disney now!

Interesting example, because the Estate of A.A.Milne reckons they own the rights to Winnie-the-Pooh, and it's Disney that's stolen it off them.
Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital have the same view about Peter Pan - they don't get a penny from the mouse either...

Thanks for posting the advert link, it looks hilarious although as I'm watching it on a pc in the library (ssshhhh! :D )I've had to have the sound muted. Does anyone know if the advert is still running and which programmes I'm likely to catch it on?
