In celebration of Norfolk's greatest hero Horatio Nelson, Robert Harrop Designs have produced a special new sculpt only available from Scotts China Shop in King's Lynn.

Nelson was born in Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk, and this unique piece (pictured below) features Nelson along with a detailed map of his beloved County of Norfolk at his feet. The figurine is called DP147KL "A NORFOLK HERO" and is a Limited Edition of only 250 pieces and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity hand signed by Robert Harrop.

To launch the piece, an open event will be held at Scotts China shop on Saturday 28th October from 10.00am till 4.00pm.

Matt Buckley, Creative Director and sculptor of this exclusive piece will be attending to answer any of your questions and to sign any figurines you may have. Also attending will be Cinta Wiseman, Collectors Club Secretary, and Russ Newnes, Production Manager and our most experienced mould maker, who will be able to answer any questions your may have in their particular field.

The $64000000 question is, how do i get hold of one without travelling to Kings Lynn? Can i pre-order from your shop, or do i have to wait until some dealer buys 10 and then shifts them on e/bay at a 500% mark up 2 weeks later? Excuse my cynicism if i am wrong in this instance.

They will only be sold by Scotts China Shop of King's Lynn, so I suggest you give them call if you want to reserve one.

You are not being cynical, but obviously we cannot control secondary sales, so the cheapest option is to buy it from Scotts in the first place. Forgot to mention above, but the RRP for this 250 limited edition piece is £40.00.

Having spent some 5 hours in the car to get to Kings Lyn and thinking that the shop was going to be shut before we could make it there, I finally got to see my Norfolk Nelson. I had a good chat with Matt Buckley and was very pleased to learn they are going to continue producing the gorgeous bulldogs Robert Harrop has been making all this time. I came away with 5 bulldogs and was really pleased we'd made the journey afterall. Thanks you for making my day.
