Can anybody tell me if the Stockists list on this site has been updated recently? I suspect it hasn't. I appreciate that the wonderful folk at RH have more important things to do, but if members became aware that any given listed stockist had stopped stocking RH goods, or indeed ceased trading completely, and posted these findings on the respective forums, we could quickly self regulate the stockists list. I have also noticed that some of the web site links are out of date, and presumably some of those without links now have them.

(This suggestion has come about as a result of another day spent travelling long distances only to discover the shop is no longer there, or stopped selling RH items)

Any thoughts?

Hertford News.
Riverside Garden Centre (Hertford) has very limited stock, about a dozen CG, 3-4 Bagpuss, 3-4 Thunderbirds. No other RH ranges.

M A Ashley (Hertford) is closed on Thursday's, but from peering through the window definately is still stocking CG.

 Only 2 of the 4 in Oxfordshire stock them know and one of those is very limited to what they stock and the other is across the other side of the county. Bearingtons of Banbury actually closed well over 12 mths ago so that is how long it is since the list was updated. Now the nearest stockist to the centre of the City of Oxford is 15 miles or 45 minutes drive

I think Mr Harrop came on the collectors talk a while ago and had a go at us saying we should buy from his reputal stockists, perhaps his time would have been better spent updating the list so we knew who they were so we could buy from them.

The section on South Hampshire is reasonably accurate. I know that most of those listed for Portsmouth/Southampton and the surrounding area definitely still stock RH stuff. The others are ones that I don't know and cannot vouch for. Stockists that I know have stopped holding RH collections have also disappeared from the stockists list. I can recommend living down here, we have several stockists in a small area and there is generally no problem with getting pieces when they come out. Some of them possibly do mail order so are worth considering for those people who are having problems locating suppliers nearer to where they live.

i was delighted to read the stockists list as i have been searching for an Edinburgh stockist for ages rather than buying on the net. Reading these posts have made me wary and i may just buy on the net again unless anyone has seen any Edinburgh stockists latey ?

I would also like to add to calls for the stockists page to be updated - perhaps it could include details of which ranges they stock?

Many stockists who don't stock a particular range will still be more than happy to order pieces from other ranges, of course - there are few shops that like to turn custom away, after all...

I can only appologise that the website is a little behind, but we are currently having issues with our hosts, not very helpful I know, but will hopefully be resolved within the next month or so.

In the meantime, you can contact Cinta for up to date stockists lists, but please bear in mind that we don't always get informed when a stockist moves or goes out of business.
