E/bay RH dog on sale now

There is a RH dog (item no 150022482069) on sale on e/bay at this time (6 days to go) It is a model of the extremely un-rare CC33 Lab golfer (male) This one however has a Royal Blue jumper on with a red patch on the left sleeve and a green patch on the right sleeve. It also wears Red tartan trousers with blue vertical and horizontal markings on them. Does anyone know if this was released originally by RH (I have my doubts) or is it another one of the new paint jobs doing the rounds at this time? I await a reply from the seller. I will add any info from them on this forum, if it turns out to be of interest.

The owner of said RH dog has informed me it is in its original paint job finish. No proof as such however. Cinta/Dan would you be able to shed any light on this dog for all us collectors out here in the real world?

It does look as if it is one of ours, I know we did experiment with some of the colours on the Golden Retriever Golfer, for a special event in 1998 (i think) :)

I have it from a pretty good source this piece was done esspecially for Beatties in Wolverhampton and is very rare. I got a feeling the messing around with colours was when you painted the choclate pieces for the event somebody with more knowledge will correct me if I'm wrong.

:( I have it from a good source the seller got an outside bid for it, hence its removal from e/bay (happens a lot i notice) Pity as it would have been a nice addition to my collection. You win some (which i have) and you lose some (which i still will) :(
