Hello All
I can't believe I'm writing this but I've just received my Firefly only to find the bucket broken off and the framework from the rear load area loose in the box. There does not appear to be any 'broken pieces' just fractured glue joints so I now have a quandary.......do I stick things back on with super glue or return the whole piece to RH for a replacement?

1) Contact RHD, they will provide you with freepost address
2) Return it to RHD.
I suspect that RHD will be just as disappointed as you that this has happened, and I'm sure they will want to rectify matters for you.

You are certainly having a bad run of luck......................What really concerns me is that it usually always happens in 3's:eek:
As Number **2 has already pointed out, i'm sure all will be sorted to your satisfaction:)

Thanks for the quick responses
I only have praise for RH and their customer service. I was just trying to avoid going through the same rigmarole as Fireflash but your right I will email RHD and get a freepost address to return it. I have looked closely at the polystyrene packing and noticed that when the piece is in the bottom section the bucket is wedged against the underside of the cut-out so any movement would result in undue pressure being applied to the the top edge resulting in it be 'pushed off'. The frame from the top looks like it just needed more glue.
Hopefully Matt will offer words of advice once he's read this. I feel really bad bringing it to the forum but this is only the second time this has happened and all my other pieces have arrived perfect. However, RH cannot address these things unless there is feedback from their collectors. I have no doubt they will excel again in their customer service.

Sorry to hear about this case of another breakage in transit.
Just wanted to say that my Firefly arrived, and like my Fireflash, it was A-OK. It is a lovely piece. Very happy with it and great addition to my collection.
Looking forward to hearing about what is next up from RHD for Thunderbirds ...
And hoping that Gerry Anderson's new series of Thunderbirds arrives soon ...
