Regarding Dan's thread, New Introductions on News Section, I went to the news section and instantly fell in love with the 2006 Christmas special edition, Murphy Christmas. Since my local stockist has recently closed down, I was wondering if anyone new the best dealer in the Greater London/South East area where I could purchase this wonderful piece?

In Greater London you've really only got Situls of Wood Green. Check out the "Stockists" page on the main RHD website to find a list of all stockists.

I purchase from Silk & Silver in Cambridgeshire at www.silk-silver.co.uk

They do mail order and provide excellent service, I can heartily recommend them.

It depends which part of Greater London you live in, my local stockist is the Romford Gift Centre (in Romford!) They are great, always popping in, he even helped me with a little problem recently, my partner accidently knocked one of my cabinets with a piece of furniture he was putting together, it made the heads of three of them to be chopped off!

He did not have two of them in stock, one was retired quite a while ago, but he managed to source them for me so I could replace my broken ones.

Not sure if they do mail order, will ask next time I am in there if it's any help.

Romford Gifts is my local and they are fantastic!

Just ordered all the new pieces from them and they have always got me every piece I have asked for. They normally have a good range of new and old pieces too.

He even kept one aside for me which was on display, as my birthday was coming up, I had written a list, but so wanted this piece, that he said he will put it away, if they do not buy it, then I can get it after my birthday! Birthday is today! Have to wait until end of next week though, as cannot see all of my family until then, so not sure what has been bought!

Did open my partners presents today, got Windy on his trike, PC Mc Garry on his bike. Could not have any of the larger pieces before as did not have anywhere for them, now have a large cabinet - although it's gradually filling up with Bagpuss, Camberwick and hopefully Mr Benns when they arrive.

Have a whole shelf waiting for the Mr Benns!

Yes Gavin, Romford actually! Which is in Essex, but is also part of a London Borough! Bit confusing for some people, even on here on the stockist list, Romford is Greater London and Hornchurch is Essex!

Dont worry ... I used to live in Chingford and now live in Chelmsford so I know the area!!

It was bad enough when Chingford was classed as Essex by most people even though it has an East London postcode!!
