This was of course the main topic of conversation over the Fanderson event just passed. We were stunned and flattered by the response for our virtual relaunch with six pieces on display all for pre order. We literally had'nt even finished setting up on the Friday at 2pm and we were busy and as is the nature of a knowledgeable collectorate and audience that means enthusiastic conversation from all parties..indeed I still had an old T-shirt on without the oportunity to get to our room or change....the same goes for Dan...brilliant stuff though:D

Nevermind what we had brought along for pre order, future wishlists were being discussed from Fireball XL5 to UFO ...never a quiet moment and I have to thank all for their many offers of support and information in the pursuit of new pieces.

We felt like part of the show rather than a retailer, proudly showing off Wallace and Gromit with a full glass cabinet and the Trumpton Fire Engine to demonstrate music box possibilities to anyone wishing to listen....and with a turn of the key it sounded great.

It was also great to see and remember people we had met four years earlier at the previous Fanderson event...certainly the time had not jaded any enthusiams..

so all the best and thanks...MattB:)

Well done Matt & Dan for a productive trip. It is nice when people take an interest in the quality art being produced by RHD.

RHD deserve a big pat on the back for their wonderful new sculpts of the new Thunderbirds pieces, they indeed almost but not quite make up for decision to revamp the second edition pilots which is a very poor move and will alienate many collectors.

The Capt Scarlet looks great too and i look forward to many more in the collection.

In my opinion this is the future of RHD, it's time to stop messing about with other collections and stick to the international worldwide marketing items.

I'm glad the new figurines have been well received.

The pilots have been released as a second edition because if it wasn't for the Licensing issues they wouldn't have been discontinued at all. It's well known that we have had a forced break from additions to the range and now we are back on track we have rereleased the pilots to bolster the new releases and to hopefully bring new collectors on board. However, with the older collectors in mind, we altered the colour of the bases of the 'second editions' so that the value of the 'first editions' is still retained and not diluted. Having spoken to many Thunderbirds collectors (fanatics!) last weekend this decision was welcomed and appreciated.

It's just a little annoying to have to buy a 'second edition' set which is virtually the same as the first edition. It scares me that the Thunderbirds collection will end up going down the same road as the CG collection with endless repeated characters, yawn after yawn!

Having said that how can i complain with such incredible additions to this collection now being offered, add to that the best Pewter on offer so far. So it ain't all bad :) Well done for that.

It seems as if you've done a great job of winning over the hardcore Anderson fans at the convention. But then as we Harrop collectors know quality always shines through.
Well done all. :D
