:rolleyes: recieved all the info thismorning,new year piece and free piece look great.have already put form back in post,so im happy! only i dont think our local shops will be as happy,surely they have enough competition to cope with on the high street at the moment with things being tight and surely they rely on new introductions to get us into there shops,i know when i rang thismorning to say they wouldn't have to ring me when the year piece comes in they were indeed shocked,after i'd had to explain why?? as they had no idear of this new system.a bit embarassing to say the least. so i think there could be trouble ahead as most shops are surely going to react the same, they go to all the effort to help us and intice us and then don't make any money.!!!!!! awaiting your thoughts.!!!!!?????

Lovely piece, but this is part of a 'Apples Galore' six part set! So assuming Barney McGrew is 2/6, that means we have another re-issue of the firemen (all be it a different scenario), which brings me back to my other thread ('Radical thought' for those that missed it). Once again I love you all at RH, but how many more re-issues of the same charecters are we going to have?

1. Loved the year piece, and watched the "Apples Galore" episode to try and figure out what the other four could be. Bear in mind that there's a lot of other characters involved in this episode - Mickey Murphy, Farmer Bell, Windy Miller, Lord Bellborough, Bracket and all the Factory Workers - so I can't see why the other 4 pieces should be exclusively Fire Brigade related. The one piece from the episode I would definitely buy is Farmer Bell on his Fork-Lift - a piece as overdue as Antonio's Ice-Cream van.

2. RHD do tend to leave a window before re-modelling characters. This pushes the Fire Engine back to 2009 at the earliest. And if there's a vote going on, it has to include the Firemen on it.

i agree,if they do the fire engine i would want the firemen on it.it would look stunning!!!!!! a real piece of work like the soldiers in there truck. :p
