Campaigners against "Tesco's" Supermarket have recruited Ms Minx as their campaign mascot. Apparently the character used to wage war against a fictional "Tosco's" in the comic, back in the day becuase the big supermarket forced the closure of her favourite sweet shops and campaigners are using this as an attempt to stick up for the local businesses.

I just read that and remembered something.

Remember we had a thread a late last year about what the characters would be like based on todaye... and then these Ned's were introduced earlier on this year which included a daughter lovingly called Chavette

it makes you wonder whether the big important people glance over these boards, surely they know we exist :eek:
