After reading on the website that they would be sent out in the next week, I got downstairs and knowing I was to walk to and from town for an interview in the following 10 mins, seeing this newsletter on my table gave me a great distraction :)

The time flew and despite feeling a little dehydrated I got back to read it and it's great news about the member pieces.

I was surprised by the choices for Camberwick Green and Mr Benn, but not in a bad way, just didn't think about them in advance.

The Bagpuss one delighted me, and I won't mention what a couple of them are in case some people don't have the journal yet, or want to be surprised themselves.

Yeah, it was waiting for me when I got in last night.
I thought of you, Uncle Feedle, when I saw the Bagpuss collector's piece - I thought you might like it!
I particularly enjoyed the Mr Benn and Magic Roundabout pieces - great choices, well modelled, nice and colourful too, which is always a good thing.
I'm finding it a little hard to get too excited about the CG piece - are RHD planning to remodel all the firemen again?

Yeah, that surprised me too. I wasn't too pleased by another fireman, but as I recall from that episode of Chigley, they showed various characters drinking the apple juice and I have a feeling that it didn't show all the firemen.

Personally I'd have gone for something like Mr Platt and his homing pigeon(s).

The Mr Benn one was a good choice, but again surprised me, because I didn't think of doing little one off characters, whether this means future years we can look forward to the dragon, king's horse, sea monster, totem pole with Indian or little boy from the Magic Carpet episode, who knows.
