It has taken a while but we are very very close to finalising an agreement to continue with our Thunderbird range literally starting again from when we left off. Also we are intending to capture a stunning likeness of Captain Scarlet and his SPV as a new release on a limited edition basis.
As I said it isn't quite finalised but extemely near to it and I am glad to say that the folks we are comunicating with on this license extension really do seem to understand us as a company and about the descerning nature of our collectorate.
If it does go ahead of which I'm most certain we would be looking to release some new pieces in the late autumn/winter.....
Of course as soon as I can I will gladly add further information....
all the best MattB:)

That is great news Matt, with the right marketing i'm sure the Thunderbirds/Anderson licence can become your biggest selling TV francise and make you all into Millionaires!....well those that aren't already ;)
If the Capt Scarlet products are the same quality as the Thunderbirds/Stingray products they should be eagerly anticipated by Harrop collectors and Fanderson's alike.
A bit worried when you said 'literally starting again'....does that mean reintroduction of the retired range?....or new figurines of characters already covered in the range?....or introduction of new characters and vehicles?
Any chance of a couple of added Stingray figures,Agent X-2-Zero and Atlanta Shore were obvious omissions from your collection, and of course 'Oink'.
As for Thunderbirds..............And don't forget Grandma!!!
Welcome news Matt....thanks.

FAB news Matt. Keeping my fingers crossed for the negotiations to conclude favourably, and totally looking forward to some more Thunderbirds ... :)

With the Thunderbird range we indend to continue where we left off, starting by adding to collectors existing range. We therefore do intend to produce Grandma Tracy, Braman etc and more of the vehicles.
We may also re-release the original pilots albiet on a different base to allow new collectors to purchase them and basically join in...believe me there are many out there without them. This will also allow Thunderbirds to maintain it's appeal and keep those residuals firm.
Indeed Captain Scarlet will be executed with the same quality and finish of all our previous pieces.
I am particularly excited by all things Anderson, there is so much for us to look at well into the future, if we do our homework and everyone likes our work.......:D
All the best MattB:)

Really like the sound of Captain Scarlet, presumably the Mysterons as well (they scared the heebies out of me when I was a kid - particularly the scarey background music).
Could we also possibly see the development of Joe 90 ?
Oh lord, I can see another collection starting, don't anybody tell the missus :)

Which one:D
I also thought for a minute that Matt was talking about a new collection.....Thundercats.....Now that's one collection i would have to indulge in:cool:
However i will wish you all all the best with this range, as i have already got a full set of Action Men, complete with there tanks, jeeps, motorbikes, speedboats and so much more.
Now they are real toys, that can! be played with:D

Indeed Joe 90 will hopefully be on the cards in the future. There is also Fireball xl5 to consider. The Eagle from Space 1999 would also work well as a piece produced in a similar scale to our Thunderbird and Stingray vehicles................:D
...we will have to see....

Joe 90, Fireball XL5 and a reissue of the Thunderbirds pilots, great stuff.
I for one will be very happy with a reissue of the pilots as although that's what I collected first, still missed out on a couple.
