Help with first editions

I have two items that I believe are first editions.
1. Border Collie Paramedic CC90
2. Basset Hound Chef CC87
Can someone tell me what are the different characteristics of the first editions.
I believe the Chef has dark blue trousers but what colour are the second edition. I am not sure what the difference with the Paramedic is.
