Cowboy Mr Benn

Anyone else find it odd that Mr Benn has got the prime front centre spot on the cover of the 2010 catalogue after being in the sale sheet and "retired" this time last year.
He has all the available figures pictured in the catalogue and all are in the main price list. I am glad to that's Harrops seem to be keeping faith with the range and after the welcome the magic carpet figure this will hopefully bring some of the remaining figures talked about on the forum being issued this year.
But it does seem odd that they seemed to finish with range in 2009 but now seem happy to promote it as a main range.

Cowboy Mr Benn, it's good to see a rhd collector having a passion for this much under-rated collection. Yes it would be nice to see perhaps another two more pieces that need to be done but then it would also be nice to have this collection come to an end to stop it becoming too large. It's just about right as it is now. :) How Lovely it is to have a collection with no BIG pieces, no monochromes, and no particulary hard to find pieces, and all pieces looking quite different from any other. It's a very special collection to be treasured.
Not sure if RHD retired the complete set last year, i know the Policeman and Zoo Keeper were retired, dunno if/why the rest weren't.

what with it being the lowest ltd. edition piece so far from this range I am really suprised that the magic carpet is taking so long to sell out? Does anyone else think the same or have any ideas why it isnt flying of the shelf!!!!

To be fair, there are plenty of 250 LE's of camberwick green that haven't sold out and they have been available far longer than the Flying Carpet. Simply less collectors around at the moment.
