Hey

i used to be one here, then i left, but now im back again!! WAHOOOO im trying to get the last few of the originals but cant find the definitive list for the original collection. does any1 have one?? cheers. Dosent matte now because the lovely lady i spoke to is emailing but my bit below is still relevet!!

also, does anyone know of any plans to release Les Pretend or Ivy The Terrible?? how about Joe King, The Cornel as in Dennises neighbour,i could mention classic characters all day tho...... :D

I'm not sure about the plans for future releases at the moment, but Ivy and Les Pretend are top of my list as well, it can only be a matter of time.
Out of those you mentioned Joe King is the least likely to be produced, and the Colonel always has a chance.
But i would really like to see Curly and Pie Face and Rasher again before the Colonal.

ok, im confusing myself. havnt read the dandy in a while, wasnt there a storyline to do with nippers or a character?? i acctually ment cuddles and dimples, because they were ace. but yeh, not to sure bout the number 13 lot, but deffinatly all the others as i cant quite remember much about the #13 possie!!

Number 13 was like the Addams family, the main character was Boris a young vampire, then where were his parents Mum and Dad? the dad was a vamp, and the mother was like Mrs Addams. Then there was Wolfie who i think was his brother, Frankie the butler, Granny (witch), and then there were the pets. Tiddles the Sabretooth tiger thing, and Fiendish the little bat.

Harrop don't need to do a sideline for older characters, just have them in the Classics, because that it what they are. Corporal Clott and Jonah have been retired for over 20 years. Billy the Cat (and Katie) should definately be in the classic range along with Biffo, Korky, the 3 bears, Eggo, Spotted Dick, Smudge etc. General Jumbo is as old as the Bash Street Kids (almost)

I haven't read the Beano for years, and never got into the Dandy that much. But i think perhaps Ernest and Daisy as well as Tim Traveller are classics now. Does anyone remember Vic Volcano?
