OK we know there are lots and lots of characters from the two comics which really wouldn't make the grade for marketing purposes in the collection. But there is no reason why they couldn't be the members year pieces and/or free gifts. They could make a series, like there is the puppy series, and have bases which look like the character has just literally jumped out of the page. That way there is always a new character to look forward to each year without diverting too far from the best sellers.
a character like Screwy Driver. A character from reading the 70's annuals i thought was brilliant, but doesn't have much cred in the stockists, mainly due to timing, but die hard collecters like ourselves would love to have somewhere in the collection.
