Hi Guys and Girls. I am unfortunately having to sell my Kyrano on ebay due to financial issues. I thought I would just inform everyone watching the forum!
I don't want it to go :(

Good luck. Is that price the standard going price for that piece?

Shame you have to sell, it's a fantastic piece. And a must if you collect the Thunderbirds range. Good luck.

p.s You could always keep it and paint up a few Port Solent's!

Hey everyone, thanks!
I really dont want to get rid, but I rather get rid of one piece of my collection, rather than ALL of them :)

Postage is always expensive, £15 probably wont even cover it. It has to be special delivery due to its price. I bet it is more that £15! Any bets anyone? lol

Billy, i have to say that i send a lot of items out of equivalent size and occassionally the same value, and the most a special delivery would cost you is about £6-£7 and that will cover you up to a £500 value. If it's overseas then you can double it for international signed for.

I have the Kyrano piece but it's a piece i will never sell as long as the Thunderbirds Collection remains in my cabinets, of course once another collection comes along who knows?!? Captain Scarlet could nudge them out. Yeah okay i'm fickle! :)

Let me know what your bet is. But before you do check Royak Mail delivery charges.Special Delivery - Next Day - Up to 1Kg £6.70 (Up to £500 in value) 1.5Kg - £8.75. Still want to bet:rolleyes: When listing on ebay you will come across the Royal Mail Pricefinder , unfortunately I`ve had to question a lot of sellers who don`t seem aware of it.

Village - I run it out of my kitchen with a portable machine hidden under the Breakfast bar when not in use. Open 12 hrs per week;) (Three half days). Every customer (5) gets a mug of tea or coffee and a biccie if required.

The last one on ebay definatly went for £140.

Hillbilly is correct the item would weigh less than a kilo special delivery next day before 1pm for that would be £6.70 £8.30 for a box and a bit of bubble wrap I think is very excessive.

..... but the box is solid oak and carved by hand by a hundred vestal virgins

I've only ever sold one item on ebay and because I put £15 p&p when the seller received the item she went ballistic as postage shown on parcel totalled £6.40, was an awful experience :(

Quite frankly if this gentleman wanted to charge £1,000 p&p it really is none of our business.
