I just love the Collection Plaque. So much nicer that it looks like part of the collection rather than merely a 'sign'.
Fantastic job on the entire lot.

Well, they can't get rid of the CG range until they've given us our Fire Engine!
But these Mr Benn pieces look superb. I might just treat myself...

Have you also read what it says at the top of the page each piece comes with a souveneir just like they did in the original program hope they are attached to the piece or they will be lost.

and here was silly me thinking that 2 collections of favourites would be enough, now there's Mr Benn.
I'd love to know if there's anyway we can nominate future shows to be created. I must admit Stingray's making me panic cos if Joe 90's produced the next one would be Terrahawks, which again I am a massive fan of.
If you want another awesome kids tv show with lots of characters Pigeon Street would be a great one, or following on from Mr Benn, King Rollo would be absolutely brilliant.
If any future smallfilms productions are done though my money would probably be on Ivor the Engine.

Well, I'd have to put money on Captain Scarlet being the next Anderson show to be made, followed by Fireball XL5 - Joe 90 would be way down the list.
And as for other good shows: THE HERBS!!!

No Poppy, the souvenirs are not attached to the pieces!! At the show they were displayed on mini podiums beside the pieces but I don't think you get them either.
So prepare to be VERY careful with them as they are very small and awkward to dust I would have thought. I'm sure I'd lose them!!

As Windy Girl says, they are not attached to the figurines. If you look again at the picture, they are the bits that can be seen next to each piece. A door key, an invite to a party, a moonrock, a magic pot, a wooden spoon and a box of matches. I don't fully recall, but I believe these were the items that Mr Benn found on his person when he got home at the end of each episode. I'll have to watch them again...... purely for research purposes you understand ;-)

Yes Windy, they are all items at the end of the episodes, you're quite right.
The pot with the wizard one was full of the magic dust he had to spray on the king, who had a very demanding queen.
Personally, the best musical box would be the opening credits. To actually have the dial with the opening images on, to revolve to the sound of the music.
Who wouldn't want that??

Just looked through this Mr Benn thread and to think that my money on the next Smallfilms collection being Ivor is safe, the news of the Mr Benn revolving musical box as hoped for was awesome, although it wasn't probably the trickiest to predict. Then having the Mouse Mill and Uncle Feedle released in the Bagpuss collection in 2 years of the collection beginning and both in the same year was the best.
PS - A big shout out to my stockist :) She said that they have just 2 of the Mr Benn musical boxes on order, and didn't think they had any til she checked for me yesterday. Luckily one will be kept for me and the other put on display. I was only in there to get one of the 3 outstanding pieces from this year's retirement list. Last year I needed 11 cos alot were retired. Luckily this year, I'm just short of 3 now, and 2 recent pieces I bought were the 2 I was missing from last year's list lol
