Have you managed to get any of the hard to get pieces yet at a real bargain price?

When I first started I didn't know the value of them and managed to get 17 pieces advertised in the paper for £55 and this included Santas Little Helpers, Cuthbert, Korky, Bifo & Winston I phoned up and it was two doors from where I was working.

It wasn't untill a couple of months later when I discovered ebay I realised what a bargain it really was. This was when santas Little Helpers was fetching over £300 and Cuthbert £150 a shot

Im not as lucky as you POPPY.................I have to rely on EBAY.

All the pieces i have picked up are under original RRP and are retired.

Andy.

I did originally tell you that you could get a lot of them for less than rrp. You may be lucky with a few more but some will cost you.
I'm thinking with all the pieces bought individually a complete collection some where near £4000 .
You did in your original email say to me that if you start a collection you must complete it.
Well it took me over 2 years to track everything down, but things are more available now than they were 3 years ago. Good luck anyway.

Neither did I but if anybody wants to buy it for the price of a Red Nose piece I will reluctantly sell the Dennis 50th anniversary piece.

Congratulations on getting up and running so quick you say not much change from 1k if you spend around another 3k you won't be far off complete.

I found the fun in collecting was the chase to find that ellusive piece. Good luck and keep going and give me a shout when you are ready for the very ellusive piece pictured above. ;)
