Hi Guys,
My wife and I have recently inherited 114 Beano & Dandy figures. Sadly we do not have the room to keep them plus we have two small children who I am sure would love to play with them!
We would like the figures to be looked after and cared for by someone who has an appreciation for such things. We are trying to contact as many collectors as possible to see if anyone would be interested in our collection.
All the pieces are boxed, all are in mint condition. Most of them have only ever been out of the box once. It is a great collection including for example

Limited Editions : BDLE 50 & BDLE 2000
'Big' : BDB 01, BDB 02, BDB 03'
'WannaBeas' :WB01-WB11
Plus a collection of Christmas figures.

There is no way we can hang on to so many pieces and would like to see the whole collection go to a good home.
We have enclosed a list of all the figures and should anyone be interested please drop us an e-mail.
Help us to find a good home for this great collection

Many Thanks
Mac

Heya,

just to let you know some of those

especially BDCP01 will be worth around 250 pounds, and cuthbert more than 100

dont sell them to the first bidder, i have a feeling an ebay shark may be lurking...

Don't know where you bought your Cuthbert from Steve if you have one but you can have mine for more than £100 then I will buy another from ebay for about £60 or maybe even less. They haven't fetched as much as £100 for the last 10 months or so. I beleive I have seen a buy it now 1st ed tubed on ebay at the moment for £65 and I don't think that has sold.

Looking at the list offered for sale and the current market I would say somewhere between £1600 and £2000 depending on condition for that lot maybe sold individually you could get a bit more, but then you end up stuck with the ones nobody wants.

Remember a absolute complete collection inc Red Nose Dennis, Event pieces all the classics, front covers, all free gifts and collectors specials and cardboard stands and all the LOL only fetched £3300.

Then remember Red Nose Dennis fetched £920 and I think anybodys maths tells you that result.
