Nice bit of free advertising! And just in case we didn't get the message he has considerately posted the same message on ALL the forums.

I really think people take advantage of this forum. They sweep in with their first message of 'I am looking for a Chistmas Post for RRP' (normally for their grandchildren, but in reality to put on Ebay) or 'I am selling my collection on Ebay - here is the link' or 'How much is my collection worth?' - not a 'Hello..my name is...and I collect Robert Harrop' and THEN we never hear from them again!

maybe I got out of bed the wrong side this morning.....

Maybe you should have stayed in the bed :p
He was doing no harm and he is hardly going to say he collects when he is a retailer and he was good enough to say they welcome new and old customers.
None of us moan when we are informed that things are being sold in a sale or a shop has 20% off surly this site is for these sort of things as well as general chit chat.
Now I'm just going to get back in bed and roll out the other side and see how that works.

Chouler's of Sherburn have recently changed their website address and unfortunately we are unable to change the details on the stockist list until February of next year. I therefore asked the shop to advertise on this forum, in all the areas of figurines that they sell. Hence all the collections that they sell have an advert on them.

This is a fourm for chatting. It is also an information centre to source any figurines missing from peoples collection and anyone wishing to sell theirs.

I openly encourage people to leave messages if they are looking to buy/sell their figurines as this is possibly the best place to find that missed piece.

The one rule on this forum is "If selling any item, we will not allow the price to be published" That way we are not setting any value on any piece.

It might have been better if he'd have hyperlinked the website address. www.choulers.co.uk
Now you can click on it.
