Just been looking on a forum that someone from my old school has set up and user started a thread about expressions that they only ever heard used at that school. Has any ever heard of the saying "clat", meaning they are going to snitch on you? I haven't heard it since school, and to be honest it was the only place I heard it.
If someone did "clat on you" then they were called a "clat", and not a "clatter".
I guess it's from the latin word which I think is similar meaning to shout.
Anyone heard of this or anything just as daft?
