I miss the old way RH used to sell it's limited edition's. Its no fun anymore clicking that mouse button and hoping that another LE doggie People or Camberwick Green figure will be there, ready and waiting for the first fifty, maybe seventy five keen collectors to dig deep into their pockets to buy another 'must have'.
Nowadays there is never any there, nothing, zilch!....not a sausage.

The first come first served British way of life has gone forever it seems, but not forgotten. Okay so some people wanna make a quick buck, so what, in the end the item will eventually go to a collector whether thru Ebay or not. It's the law of the Jungle, and the more jungle creepers you cut down the more monkeys you will find

I wonder if the RH site makes a count of log ins to the site, if it does i bet the number of log in's is down steeply since the abandonment of the surprise LE's, and the less people visiting the site, the less likely to increase sales on standard products.

So come on RH let's have the random LE's back again, if people miss out on them, its tough, i missed plenty but eventually the law of averages shows that the bread and jam does sometimes land jam side up.

Perseverence is what put the Great into Britain, if we miss out of a figure let's not have a face like  but a face like :) and then make a little more effort into clicking more often onto the RH website in your search, easy init!

Now who's gonna sell me that Parker LE?..........

 Now dont get me wrong but a chase for an RH item is not all the thrill some people make it out to be. I work nights so log on from 10pm all week until around 1.00am before i actually have to go and do some real work. This means that i am usually in bed until midday at the earliest, which also means that i have missed out on the opportunity if i so wish to, and buy the ltd editions recently offered on this forum. Personally i have been on time to buy some of them from other collections, but i only buy the dog versions if i am in time. I could have bought the recent Bulldog Long John Silver and made a fast buck but as i dont collect Bulldogs i did'nt. I would much rather a collector of Bulldogs had the pleasure of owning it than me. This works the other way though. I missed out on the White Beefeater EBT (which i do collect as i have a real one tearing my house up at home) because i was in bed when the e/mail went out so had to pay through the nose to get one. Personally i would have much rather been offered it as a genuine collector of the breed from RH than the 'Thrill of the Chase'! Just my humble opinion thats all.
Ps Still looking for The 'Solent' and Summer Uniform EBT if anyone is looking to raise some money for Xmas

okay fair point, but where does that leave people like myself who collect any breed of dog? do we get offered everything? is that fair?
No, a simple straight forward, put the Limited Edition's on the website's at no specific hour of the day and then its first come first serve. Then no-one should have any complaints, if you ain't there when the bus arrives you have to walk.
