When I received the exclusives catalogue this morning my excitement was tempered by the news that the Clangers collection is being sold at half price. Although I will be buying a few to pass onto friends, family and people I meet on the train ( in the hope of getting some more collectors of this brilliant range) I am anxious that this move suggests it may be the end of the line for the Clangers.
Please Dan/Cinta put me out of my misery, tell me it's not the end.

Sorry Hector it does seem as the Clanger range is finishing - a couple of the Ebay retail sellers who have most of the ranges up for sale have put up notes about ordering figures before they go out of the stock - the one I looked at had the details below on its Ebay pages,
"NEWSFLASH JUST IN FROM HARROPS!! All the Stingray , Clangers , Bagpuss and some of the Thunderbirds figures will be retired and discontinued at the end of the year, however they are already out of stock of many of the figures, so if you need to complete your collections don't miss out, and get them as soon as you can."
Agree with you that the actual clanger figures are some of the best and most realistic figures across all the ranges and the soft toys out a couple of years back sold well - possibly people like their clangers to be made of soft materials rather than hard?
