This post is notification that the following Club Members only Limited Edition will be available to purchase from our online Factory Shop (http://www.robertharrop.com) on Tuesday, 2nd October at 6.00PM


The new edition is an alternative colourway of The Beano’s Grandpa (http://www.robertharrop.com), a Special Limited Edition of only 75 pieces!

Each special Grandpa is hand numbered and comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Robert Harrop.

Selling for £35 each, this edition is strictly limited to only 75 pieces,*

*Please note that this figurine can ONLY be purchased through our online Factory Shopand can only be purchased by Members of our Collectors Club. Telephone, fax or email orders are not accepted. This figurine cannot be pre-reserved.

Due to high demand and the limitations of the system, notification of a successful transaction does not necessarily guarantee purchase. However, any transactions completed after the edition has sold out will be reimbursed in full.

This special edition is strictly limited to no more than one figurine per person and per household.

All this wonderful idea of giving people a days notice will do is give people hope overload the system and give us all more headaches. Personally I have quite an important meeting so I now have to make a choice do I.

1) Cry off the meeting and still not get a piece because the site crashes

2) Go to the meeting and hope my wife manages to get one

3) Not bother and wait for a week and buy one from ebay

I must say the old method was a lot better at least if you clicked on the site and they had all gone you knew pretty much there and then which was fair enough. Instead we wait in agony for a day on the hope of getting one only to be dissapointed.
I always said I would miss out on one and it would cost me money and to be fair that doesn't bother me because I know the opputunity to purcahse one will be just around the corner but sorry RH I don't very often critisize you as a company but this is a **** idea everybody that visits this webpage regually knows that they need to keep an eye open for the new ltd editions now you have just created an even bigger bun fight than normal and may the quickest on the keypads and people with shorter names and addresses win

This is in response to other collectors suggestions, not just two. If it works great, if it doesn't then we'll have rethink. dont know until you try do you?

God, i hope i managed to get one. That was a nerve breaking experience which i did not enjoy. I realised it would happen, but hey i like being in a crowd, but that was to much. And i still don't know whether i got a piece or not. Cause when i came out of the process, it had sold out. Whether because i got the last one, or was pipped to the post i dont know.

Must have been nine attempts at going through the gauntlet, attempts 1 to 9 i was met with page unavailable or to many connections. 800 into 75 is going to cause chaos.
