First of all, I’d just like to express my thanks for a really well run event on Saturday. The Harrop staff were so helpful & enthusiastic about their work. It was a delight.

Secondly, people might be interested to know that one of the Harrop staff confirmed they are looking at producing the Herbs. Hoorah! If it went ahead, has anybody got any thoughts on what the first music box should be? Howabout a revolving Herbidacious door playing the theme tune?

For Camberwick collectors that couldn’t make Saturday, there looked to be a “shop front” design Windmill for release in 2008. It seemed to be a similar height to the original large windmill.

The “black & white” versions of the Doggie pieces looked very good. I particularly liked the version of the Basset Hound Christmas Carol. Will this be released for general sale or was it a prototype?

There was also, for release next year, a Basset Hound “gendarme” (at least I think that’s what it was as I only caught a fleeting glance). It looked good.

Thanks again for an enjoyable day!

Great news!!! I collect the Camberwick Green pieces but if RHD start the Herbs then I will be very tempted to collect them too.

I still remember Parsley the Lion, Dill the Dog, Bayleaf the Garden, Sage the Owl, Sir Basil, Lady Rosemary, The Chives, Aunt Mint & Constable Knapweed even though I haven't seen them for many years. I think, if I remember correctly there was also a witch and a dragon, but can't remember their names.

A revolving Herbidacious door would be perfect for the first music box. I also remember that Parsley the lion usually waved good bye at the end and always nearly caught his head in the door as it closed.

Happy childhood memories. :) :) :)

The Herbs !!!! Great news !!!! I will be collecting them !! Now , how about the Diddymen ???

Herbs - Snake charmers basket with snake as musical box !!!

Pewter Parsley the Lion !!!!!!

But I hope they dont make them big like the Thunderbirds, Mr Benn etc - the
size of the Camberwick Green range is perfect.

The Herbs! Fantastic News!!!
Sugarlump Studios did a great job but I'm sure Robert Harrop would be even better.
Parsley the Lion, Dill the Dog, Sage the Owl, Sir Basil, Lady Rosemary, Bayleaf, Constable Knapweed, Pashana Bedi and snake, Bella Donna the witch, Signor Solidago, Tarragon the dragon, Aunt Mint, Good King Henry, Miss Jessop, the cherubs, Mr Onion, Mrs.Onion and at least ten chives.
Better get another paper round!
Does anyone know when they the first pieces might be released?

The Herbs would be a great addiction to the Harrop ranges, sadly sugarlump studio's no longer produce them.

I only hope they aren't quite as large as the Magic Roundabout pieces which i think are a tiny bit too big.
