I was wondering if you could tell me what a reasonable price to pay for this item is and what previous buyers have bought it for seeing as it is a rare piece.

1st edition Cuthberts in there heady days could fetch as much as £200 each I think the best I see was £230 but at the moment they go for between £ 50 - £80 agin depends how much somebody is willing to pay.
I wouldn't say they were that rare but were probably never the most popular piece when originally introduced along with the other what people thought to be ugly pieces Walter Softie, Rasher etc. Plus also a few of these pieces were made for a shorter time than the rest of the BD series.
