Regretably I've had to put my plaque up for sale. I've had the piece around 5 years myself and Robert Harrop has also signed the piece when I attended the auction back in 2001.

It has 2 days left and has had a lot of interest from the number of watchers monitoring the price.
I really hope it sells to a real collector, but as I have 2 young children, I have had to sell it on e-bay.
If anyone wants any more information on the piece, then please e-mail me.

Hi Funster
I hate to be the bearer of what is probably bad news but have you seen how much the plaque go for lately about the £150 complete, and as much as we love Mr Harrop I don't think his signiture is worth £500. I must admit I am watching it myself hoping it will sell as I also have a signed plaque and would cheer me up no end knowing they sell for that price.

Hi Poppy
It's been a long time since we've been in contact. Thanks for your reply. I haven't been following the prices lately. I bought it myself on e-bay and paid a lot more than that, so that is dissapointing, but hey that's how it goes. I put a reserve of just over what I paid, so if it doesn't meet that, then I'll just have to keep hold of it.
Had a terrible bit of luck the other day, one of my favourite signed pieces, Danta Claus, got damaged when I opened a window. I was gutted, but there is no way I was selling that anyway, so I'll just have to glue the piece I 'chopped off' back on! :(

Yes unfortunatly it seems only the real expensive pieces have dropped in price dramatically at the moment, the others seem to be holding there own or leveled out from the heady heights of a couple of years ago. Probably because more people have discovered ebay and rather than there being about 100 pieces of Robert Harrop for sale at a time there is now sometimes as much as 700 pieces for sale so even though there may be more buyers they have more choice or even wait as they know another piece will come along eventually at the right price.
